Mert Dorman takes a vision and makes it reality through sound strategy development. Mert Dorman, who continues his professional life at different levels of Turkish Airlines for more than 12 years, take charge as Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Distribution Channels from January 2017. He leads a team responsible for Turkish Airlines Corporate Club loyalty program and corporate travel agreements between Turkish Airlines and companies all over the world. Mert Dorman also directs the distribution channels within in the scope of global distribution systems, online marketing and sales, call center management, reservation systems and passenger services. He currently serves on Turkish Ground Services (TGS)’s board of directors since 2021.
Previously, Mert Dorman was in charge of Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Before that, he served as Interline Manager and Revenue Management & Pricing Manager respectively. Mr. Dorman was responsible for bringing the revenue to the top level while increasing ticket sales within the context of Turkish Airlines global marketing strategy during those duties.
Prior to joining Turkish Airlines, during Mert Dorman was the financial consultant of “Aviva Life and Pensions”, one of the world’s leading private pension and life insurance company.
Mert Dorman graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and master’s degree in Business Administration in Marmara University. Mr. Dorman has academic studies on increasing sales and developing marketing activities for international airlines and also had education in Regent School in United Kingdom.
